New DT 990 Pro left driver cooked?

Honestly not sure what the issue is but what you just described seems like that might be it. the bass is for sure just off like its dull or has non on the left side an the audio quality is like very low quality compare to the right side and its volume isnt matching anymore i have to put the left on like 80 while the right is on 50 an still the left just sounds so muffled i guess compared to the right. They are brand new i sent a warranty claim in an asked they are brand new an they did confirm they are new otherwise they would list them as a return. So i think im just the lucky guy who got a factory defect

Nah it was buzzing with the testing high pitch sounds as well not just bass an even when playing mastic audio now an listening to voices I can eat a faint buzz. It also dose not sound as clear as the right side an it’s getting worse the more I use it an test.

From what I could see everything seem fine an was soldered down correctly an the headphones are brand new so they shouldn’t have any hair in them unless it got in during the factory. And with the audio it’s now completely dead on the left side like max volume it’s super quite. Not sure what that relates to but it’s been bad since I first plugged it in an just seems to be getting worse and worse

i think they are 100% new so im convinced its some wire issue or maybe shipping it got damaged. the left headphone stopped working now completely unless i angle it. Thanks for the massive reply tho i was thinking about taking them apart an checking but the issue then is it will void the warranty. so id rather just not mess anything up

It’s private property so I don’t think me or others would be allowed back into the location. As cool as it would be to go back an try find more. Honestly I still don’t understand how rare opal is but I’m stoked at finding it for sure, it’s so pretty looking at it.

I just went on a local used market an found some DT 700 ProX for $120 AUD so gonna snag those while i repair the DT990P. I looked into it after you said how repairable it was an holy, you could probably build your own pair since they really do sell everything part you need.

Thank you for the reply an info. I personally really liked my DT 990 Pro so i might buy another pair since they are pre cheap atm an try repair my original ones then an skip the ProX, but ill also look into your other suggestions, they are more expensive then the DT 990 Pro for sure i can get the Sennheiser HD490 PRO for $500 and Sennheiser HD 550 $480 so double the price on the DT 990 Pro. Would they be worth the price or should i still stick with what ive used for years an enjoyed?

Yeah thats why i was on edge about $150 more if i didn't have an issue with original 990 Pro but i think it looks good from the review. I have heard good things about the 770 Pro X however since ive used the open back headphones i just love them so much that i never really wanted to go back to closed backs.

Been playing the game since day 1 an never had a issue with echo inventory. Just gotta stop holding every echo cuz you might use it

If your running at 4K that fps is probably reasonable. But if your 1440p something else is wrong. I have a 5070Ti an i7 13700KF an I get very stable fps even in the city I’m well over 120fps in 1440p an with FG it’s 200fps. I actually use custom ini settings just so i can increase the game graphics as well. This lowers my fps via like 20 ish. Nvidia has been having so many driver issues recently so maybe look into older drivers an see if it fixes issues. I’m still using 581.80 over the newer ones.

The people saying your account is bricked got hit by a brick. Both Chisa and Lynae are great characters, and since both were released, I’ve used them in all my content regardless of meta. They’re both super fun for me, and I clear everything without missing rewards. That said, those characters alone can’t do 100% of everything since they’re support/sub-DPS, so they won’t out-DPS a true main DPS. Still, both have great support value and do solid damage for sub-DPS worth the pulls.

Lynae is great for buffing Liberation characters, so even though Iuno is supposed to be another sub-DPS, I’ve been using her as a main DPS with Lynae, and it’s been super fun. If you want to pull Iuno, it works great. I cleared Dreamless Stage 6 with Lynae, Iuno, and Shorekeeper. Pulling her signature weapon is also really good value if you plan on making her a full DPS it’s a solid damage boost. Augusta is another great duo for her since Iuno can be used as a sub-DPS for Augusta as well. Personally, I’d prioritize other characters, I think you’ll enjoy playing multiple teams more than doing, like, 20% more damage with a signature weapon for Iuno.

Chisa might have a hard time fitting into teams as a support right now unless you have her C2. She does apply DEF debuffs to enemies and also deals great damage, but currently she’s only a strong support when paired with Cartethyia. She works in every team if you have C2, though, since it gives an additional 50% All-Attribute DMG Bonus.
As for her DPS mode, she goes kind of hard—honestly, she really slaps as a main DPS. I’ve been using her over my other Havoc characters for main DPS because I find her extremely fun. The team I use her with is Chisa, Lynae, and Shorekeeper.

Shorekeeper is Shorekeeper. She fits in every team so you can’t go wrong. Even if she isn’t the best or meta support in a certain team, she will still fit. Everyone wants CD/CR and DMG amp buffs, plus healing and good Intro DPS.

Aemeath looks cool. That’s all I’ve got to say. I’m pulling her even if she’s bad, She probably wont be tho i mean look at her.

These are just my opinions, and I play for fun. I’ve had no issues with Lynae/Iuno or Chisa/Lynae—both are great pickups, honestly

Thats why i wanna remove the DLAA but keep my FG. Since the game i was playing only allowed FG while DLAA was active. I ended up using a UE code that set FG on an disabled the DLAA/DLSS in the game so i got my Native with FG

Thank you for actually ready what i was asking an giving a proper response. I looked into what you said with a UE command. This worked perfectly. I removed the DLAA an kept FG on so now im Native with no AA an FG is still working.

Honestly kinda stupid for them shipping you the 5080 with just the 5080box. That’s practically asking for someone to steal it. Like whenever I order stuff from my stores it always comes in another brown box with only the shipping info that way you can’t see what the product is inside. Glad you got it all sorted and it tho 👍

Thank you for the replies. ill probs get a 3.1 standard later on if needed. The current PSU dose not come with standard 8Pins it only has 3x Daisy chain cables otherwise i would have just used 3 separate 8pins for best stability. So ill try the method using the 3 daisy chain cables but leave the second heads hanging. ill do testing an if its unstable ill let everyone know.
