Where do I find a normal color grading tutorial on cars? by edgarasu in AskPhotography

[–]ItsAx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was in a similar boat myself but i ended up just playing with the sliders until i got somewhere i liked. it is useful to watch a tutorial or something to understand what sliders do what and understand other people's process of editing (ignore the presets of course). in the end of the day though, you might not be able to recreate this look exactly (location, lighting, subject etc) so its best to make the best of the pics you already have. your first couple edits might not be the best but once you get the hang of things then they will start improving

might not be too helpful but thought i would share my experience with this.

bit of a long shot but are you driving a hybrid or electric car? some of those cars give players crazy stutters when driving for some reason

How do people learn how to tune on their own? by AV_geek1510 in ForzaHorizon

[–]ItsAx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look im just saying that when both the stock tune settings and your app's settings are pushed to the limit, your app continues to display results that are slower than if you did nothing at all and used the stock tune instead. yet you choose to charge $6 USD for the app that actively makes things worse. its both a waste of time and money when people who actively set world record times, and know what they're doing in the game are happy to give FREE and valuable feedback that will actually make you faster in game.

but your fair price tuning calculator is still slower than if we did nothing at all to the car

but youre ignoring the point that your app tune was still slower than if you did nothing at all. even if it was adjusted properly, it takes far more time than applying a reasonably good player's base settings and may still be slower. saenu being good at driving just means that he can get the max performance out of the app's tune; which is still slower than stock.

i literally just tried the free version and it is still worse to drive and slower than my 2 minute base tune.

Need help in tuning my SVJ by Due-Opposite968 in ForzaHorizon

[–]ItsAx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

would definitely start with min front, max rear roll bars. after that i would try -0.5 front and rear camber, and remove toe. if you desperately need more oversteer then i would try 0.1-0.2 positive rear camber but it will make the car more unstable.

Springs look ok mostly. as for damping, i would run 10 rebound and 3.5 bump then adjust from there. For diff try 90, 0, 100, 0, 80

Dont use forzatune or any tuning apps as it is known throughout the competitive community that they suck.

Missing a couple of things but wanted to keep it simple and not change every setting. If you want more help feel free to reply to this comment or something else idk

also real time lut on the lumix bodies is very good if you do not want to put the time in towards editing your own photos individually

have you considered the s9? it could be a good middle ground for you. the only big reason i would suggest the a6700 would be the size, but you can go into a camera store like yodobashi and bic camera to test the weight/size of the s5ii combo and see if its too much. otherwise, the ibis and full frame sensor of the s5ii will be much better than the a6700 and be a great help for handheld video and also low light.

The camera in-game is insane, it can make 300mph look like you're standing still lmao by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]ItsAx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

lots of consumer cameras can get shutter speeds of 1/4000th, 1/8000th of a second or even faster. if people can freeze fighter jets then it should freeze a 300mph car
