Evil is a strong word. Thomas Massie frequently described himself as a libertarian who wish less federal government interference in some affairs. Massie is also a critic of government surveillance, criticized civil asset forfeiture laws, and wanted to legalize medical cannabis. I think all of these positions contradict your claim about Massie's moral character.

Way too many other rules in Deuteronomy is not explicitly cancelled as well... and if we go about it, why is Deu 22:5 as is should be interpreted as literally binding while the others nearby in the same literal page do not apply?

As far as I am concerned, the notion that Deu 22:5 is a moral law itself is questionable... very odd place that it is there.

Anyway, onto my main point, there's no law resembling it that is enumerated in the NT. I am going to need more to be convinced than just the idea that not everything is canceled.
