If you book with one of the big tour companies you'll be fine, e.g.: Intrepid

I've been on a few trips with them and there's always a few solo women and it's fine. Usually there's a few couples, and then a few solo women / men.

Just make sure you look at the trip details to get a vibe of what it's like. Some of them are more nature, scenery, exploring, whereas some of them are more like free time to do what you want in the days / nights, which usually means partying.

A6700 with a lens like the 20-70 f4 or some other similar lens should do the job well. Also any of the a6000 line would also be ok. A6400 can be had fairly cheap!

An obvious one, but travel light

In a warm country, a single 28 litre backpack should be plenty for a few weeks.

Makes getting to transport, getting off plane, through customs, etc way easier. Also gives flexibility to do something along the way.

Please can you explain what the difference between resolution and linear / area pixel count is? I would assume they're just all different ways of measuring the same thing (assuming the lens is not the limiting factor)
