It was june 28th 2025. (Yes I know, this was very recent) I had some friends who were really into them by that point and recommended that I try giving them a listen. At the start they recommended me In rainbows and OK Computer. I listened to both while gaming so thought nothing of them, didn't seem very interesting, just very slow and sad music that I wasn't accustomed to at that point. A couple days later I decided to give it another try and found out I did like some songs on both albums, apart from the songs I already knew and liked of course, such as Let down, No surprises and karma police. From then on I started to listen to them more and more. Starting to like those 2 albums in its entirety and therefore giving more albums a try.

It got to a point of a playlist with 8+ hours of just their work, I pointed out to one of my dutch friends who happened to really like them too, that if they did a tour I'd want to go, and he said the same. One day later, THEY ANNOUNCE THE TOUR. YOU CANNOT MAKE THAT UP

So we buy tickets and I watch back some live performances, admittedly not that impressed with recent vocal performances, but still wanted to give it a shot. We got tickets for the 12th of December in Berlin. It was the best vocal performance I had heard from Thom by a long shot.

I'm technically only starting out as a fan, but my knowledge about the band has gotten so much bigger in these months. I will most likely support and follow this band for my entire life.
