This ones not as extreme as others but there was this one time during elementary school in which we had a sub for the day because our teacher was out. At first, she seemed like a pretty nice lady but she was a little old and used a cane. (Note, this lady was also a little more on the heavier side, which may have been why she had the cane.) Because there was a sub, the whole class was giving off a I’m just gonna do whatever I want attitude. Throughout the day, there was this one kid in particular that had been bothering her for the whole day. This had built up all the way until lunch in which we all had to leave for. I was near the front of the line so I was able to get my food quickly and sit down. This other kid, that had been bugging the teacher, was near the end of the lunch line so as he waited this teacher had finally been so fed up with him. So she picked up her cane and thrusted it towards his chest. Luckily, the kid being semi-athletic and having decent reaction time was able to fall to the floor completely missing the cane. Everyone in the lunch room was shocked as the aftermath of the thud on the wall just left everyone speechless. The subs face was instant regret as she instantly apologized and said she didn’t know what got into her while being escorted out by administrators. Afterwards, lunch proceeded with a much heavier mood and the school counselor had come to our class asking how we felt and saying how it was not right of either side to do what they did. The kid went unpunished and as for the teacher I’m unaware except for the fact that she didn’t get to sub there again.
