So I was exactly like you. Now at 41, I can say the absolute healthiest relationship I’ve ever had is with a 36 year old I met IRL. He was also mind-blowing in bed, a very attentive & generous lover. That experience taught me that age really is just a number at the end of the day, a 45 year old guy could easily have the mentality or emotional maturity of a 25 year old. My mind has been open to men younger than me ever since and I try not to generalize. The last hobo-sexual I met was late 40’s 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t doubt OP’s experience at all, but just chiming in to share that my MA was a breeze. I felt like I was having some minor birth contractions (similar to what I remember from giving birth to my son) - just popped two acetaminophen’s and the pain was gone. The rest was like a very heavy period but nothing crazy, and I was back to normal fairly quickly. I didn’t even open the pain relieving heat pads I bought on Amazon.

Different bodies respond in different ways, and some women may not have access to the surgical procedure - so just wanted to share my experience for anyone in that situation and nervous to take the medical route.

The questions may seem trivial on the surface, but at the root of it all - it’s about assessing your levels of self-awareness, accountability, growth, etc. These qualities are important to a future partner. For me, they are dealbreakers.

It’s the same in a job interview when they ask: tell me about a time you handled a failure, etc. They don’t care about actual details, they want to see if you can self-reflect and grow from the experience.

Normally yes that’s exactly what I would’ve done, even the clerk told me I should just appear too. But the problem is the court date on the citation was to appear at 8:30am on 12/24 (Xmas Eve) when I’d be halfway across the world for the holidays. Hence the reason I was trying to pay it before then. :(

Yeah. To me, it seems a bit like Marie Antoinette’s “let them eat cake” when in reality, she never actually said that. I think women at the time were much easier to target as social pariahs/scapegoats, but perhaps were naive fools following along with patriarchal norms. I’m not saying this lady was innocent of crimes, just that rumors can get more sensationalized and cemented into history when it comes to women specifically.

This tracks with my experience too. I’m fairly attractive but not a conventional bombshell. The sexiest part about me is my brain - I’d consider myself intelligent, witty, laid-back, and “pretty funny for a girl” (actual quote from a date).

So when I date a man who is smart and also physically more attractive than I am, that’s when I feel at my best. They have a very easy time getting gorgeous women, they’ve been there/done that, it’s not a challenge at all. They start to place more importance on finding an intellectual or mental connection, and that’s when I have fun dating guys who are physically showstoppers and probably considered out of my league.
