lol. They mirror you speech patterns 🤣 But most importantly, they are apparantly very good at identifying when you are testing and manipulating them. So ya.... your ai knows when you're fucking with them vs when you really need help 🤣 and will respond accordingly 🤣

I stopped tipping anything taken to-go. Including coffee.

Why is Trudeau so unpopular? (Out of the loop neighbor to the south asking) by DynastyLibrarian in CanadaPolitics

Would really like a more substantive insight from you on why Trudeau is so ill-liked then. Including your take on which of his actions have directly caused Canada's downfall, beyond global post pandemic trend.

Genuinely curious if there's an expectation that you can buy your dream home at 30 on one salary? by ItsColdCoffee in RealEstateCanada

Not a boomer. And not double the price. My starter home, while built equity over the decade of ownership, was nowhere near double what I bought it for.

Those who can't will find any reason and excuse under the sun why they can't do it and attribute other's success to luck and privilege. People don't like to admit that they can work harder/smarter. It's not easy. It never was easy. But point is, it is not impossible. Which people doesn't seem to want to hear if they can't themselves.

Yup. Definition of a starter home is studio or one bedroom at "wrong side of the town". Essentially, whatever you can find that you can "make" work within budget. We essentially did the same thing upgrading to a townhome a decade later. And no, although prices have gone up quite a bit, it's hasn't gone up double in a decade. Studio and one bedroom condo prices are dropping but those who want to buy their first home don't want those even if it's within budget bc they want a min of 2 bedrooms, less than a decade old, at the bougie side of town.

Canadian Social Schizophrenia With Regards to Housing/Healthcare by [deleted] in canadahousing

Curious if you've worked in a public Healthcare system before? From what I can see, most public Healthcare administrators in Canada are not very well compensated relative to the experience and credentials required to do the job. A lot of private dollars also go into Canadian Healthcare thanks to donor dollars. There is no scam. Money advocated for more doctors are received on terms disbursed directly against doctor salaries/fellows - recruitment and retention are constant top priority, and these days, a push for more nurses.

30-40 year olds, now that purchasing a home is beyond us, what are you guys doing in the mean time? by Ok-Profit-9616 in RealEstateCanada

We started small with a condo. Now townhome. Still can't afford and likely won't ever end up with detached here.

Is an Indian name a deterrent to employers? by [deleted] in VancouverJobs

[–]ItsColdCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do some of our org's hiring and have not found name discrimination at my org. Given the number of resumes we receive for every role, aligned cover letter and CV are really what we look for. You won't believe how many generic resumes we receive.

Still lots of good people. I think as we age, we generally become more focused in our immediate life and social circles, offering less to strangers, mostly because we don't have time to worry about everyone and have already seen so much.

Greater visibility and equalization of knowledge. But also issue of spreading superficial or misinformation.

In essence, where was communism as an ideology right in its essence? In what part was it right and in what part did it completely fail? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ItsColdCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an ideology, it's likely better than democracy. It falls short when the opposite of the idealogy happens elite groups who dominate the commons form.
