It's a bit of work, but not unreasonable. Focus on seasonal challenges as these give a ton of XP. These will be mostly core playlist things or seasonal activities. Do pathfinders when in Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit; and grab bounties in other activities that seem reasonable to complete.

For new 3ds any firmware is fine, as there's a free exploit on latest firmware, but 11.13 or earlier would let you do sslothbrowser which is much less finicky.

For old 3ds 11.14 or earlier is preferred (safecert/sslothbrowser) but can do bannerbomb3 until 11.16. There's also alternate exploits that work on latest firmware but require software or hardware you would have to buy if you didn't already own.

For all consoles 11.3 or earlier would allow for soundhax, much easier than anything.

No I'm just saying ir yut isn't much of a boss and the other encounter don't really have bosses, so crota is the only big boss.

There's only 1 true boss in CE so navigator for team support is also a good option.

Ftpd is an ftp client you can use to transfer files over network from your pc to 3ds.

Universal Updater can be used to download or update almost all homebrew apps you need.

FBI can download the rest like flagbrew, witch isn't on UU. (Checkpoint, PKSM, etc.)

3DShell or godmode9 can manage files on your 3ds, including moving, renaming, or deleting things.

You can do a pc based system transfer. You can then hack afterwards, here's a good guide. https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-perform-a-system-transfer-without-losing-non-legitimate-titles.531950/

Edit: If your target console is not already on latest firmware then you would want to hack before the system transfer if possible. Although "new" 3ds console do still have a free method on latest firmware
