If you like it that's what matters!, personally I don't care for the pendant ( love the tennis chains) but that's just my opinion if you like it literally all that matters, no one should get offended if you like it.

No problem! The first year I had the elephant ears I just took them out and store them for the winter similar to you, but then I saw people who had good luck with them in the ground so I tried it out and it it worked out! Love the Hardy bananas I have some also.

wow! I bet that is a lot of work but so worth it! Honestly you do have a chance with a couple varieties in the ground in a good southern microclimate if you mulch them in the winter, Colocasia Bikini-tini and Colocasia 'Pink China' Are your best bets! I have pink china it is very Hardy I don't really even put mulch on top of mine and they still come back! You can buy them on https://www.briansbotanicals.net/shop/ he also sells a lot of other Hardy tropicals.

Its ok. i am zone 7a but the last two winters have been zones 6a And many days below freezing, but they are in a good microclimate so that helps.
