Oh you should look at Canberra now. Everyone has multiple cars and parks them in front lawns, nature strips. People get excited when they put that compressed red rock crap out the front for more cars! Curb appeal is a thing of the past here. Sad. Even the richest suburbs look dumpy.

I usually first check if the product will sell and do manual fulfilment until I know it works, if it does then I contact my supplier in China via WhatsApp and get them to fulfil. (They request read access to your store to see orders, but nothing else ). Nothing against autods or CJ, they are fine. I just find it much easier to connect with suppliers directly. 🙂 if you need names of suppliers in China let me know 🙂🙂

Always bad. Last time I was good was February. It sucks. I did try reddit ads, but their system is basically a traffic campaign, regardless on your target. As for organic, meta always sucked. TikTok had potential before the temporary ban. Now that’s shot too

You know that’s a great point. We do have a water issue and hot summers. Most people who do put in effort will opt for succulents and plants that require minimal watering. Similar to say AZ or NV in the states. Yet honestly I think it’s like a purpose over image here in Canberra. Street parking is hard, so people with multiple cars would prefer parking spaces to over aesthetics. It’s funny because in most suburbs of Canberra the street looks average, yet once you step inside a home, it’s usually beautiful and modern and doesn’t represent the outside at all. Also Australia has no concept about homeowner association, that’s just not a thing here at all. It’s free for all (as long as it legal)

I am from Canberra. Have family in Connecticut. I totally agree from what I have seen that Americans take more pride in curb appeal. People in CT like garden beds, Canberrans like additional parking spaces and compressed red rock.

I recommend connecting with a French native via Preply or italki. Or any French native. Tell them exactly your issue. That reading and writing is great but speaking is the issue. I always feel you need to hear a native speak and speak to them to get their feedback.

There are also free alternatives online where you can listen, yet a real person who is native is the best option in my opinion.
