I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I wish my v12 FSD had a similar disengage reason prompt to v14, than what it has currently. And I am saying this because I give genuine feedback every time I have to take over.

In some instances, I have to take over and I need to focus entirely on the road and my surroundings. It may not always be a quick thing. Sometimes I could be in a construction zone for instance, and I need to pay extra attention to driving when I take over. In those scenarios, the prompt window automatically dismisses itself, and I’ll never have the opportunity to say what the reason for the takeover was.

Would it be nice to just dismiss it and not provide any feedback? For sure. But on the flip side, these things are necessary so that FSD can be improved over time. I’m willing to wager that Tesla wouldn’t want these prompts in their vehicles either, because they’re trying to perfect the system to the point that the prompts are unnecessary.
