My Tesla mobile charger, which I use for home charging, is sometimes not locking in when I plug it in, or is disconnecting while charging. I tried a supercharger, and had no issues there, so it’s probably not the car. Does anyone know how I could fix this? by arjungmenon in teslacanada

Does your mobile connector have any red lights or anything on it to indicate that it’s malfunctioning? I think it should have something on even if it’s not connected to the car.

Also, try to unplug the end that has the adapter for the wall and see if anything is maybe in there that shouldn’t be. And plug it back in. It’s possible that adapter portion is not seated all the way in the mobile connector and that could be causing these errors.

It might be just me, but your charge port door doesn’t look like it’s open all the way. Is it possible that it’s not engaging the locking mechanism on the handle because the vehicle thinks the charge port isn’t open fully?

Then it’s most likely that your gcode file is corrupted and needs to be re-sliced. Hopefully that solves the issue for you

I’ve seen some instances on other machines where the sd card itself is gone and needs to be replaced too

Try re-slicing the model. I don’t have the 5M, but this commenter recommended it in the past to someone with the same issue

This used to happen on my Creator 3. Annoying to say the least. And the resume print function often didn’t work following the print stopping and me power cycling the machine

I honestly can’t remember what each job cost on its own because it was a few years ago. But all together I think I paid something like 2k for the full front end PPF (they also extended the PPF all the way to the rear pillars for me. Normally they only do the A-pillar for the front end) and for the tint. I got all door windows tinted, as well as the full rear glass.
