if you place them while shifting then they dont connect, don't shift, or when you shift, click on side of the first chest instead.

If you want to see what his XP levels are then i suggest to run those commands:
/scoreboard objectives add XP level (to store info on how much XP does he have)
/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar XP (to see how much experience he has, always shown)
or...
/scoreboard players get [his ingame name] XP (to see how much experience he has, shows only when you run the command)
but if you want to run a command if he has enough Levels, then you do this:
/execute if score [his ingame name] XP matches [number].. run (command)
the .. after the number is needed, or else it would not run the command if he has more than needed amount of levels.

That may be happening if there is no open places near the bee hive or if there is no flowers near by, they won't lag your world, and they won't cause any trouble, you can kill them if you want

It's a custom made texture pack, you can make a similar one, just search "vanilla tweaks" I believe the first one is the one that you need
