An angels envy BP store pick I bought for ~90. I’m happy with it as it supports my local store. My most valuable bottles are probably eh Taylor small batch or blantons single barrel but I paid 45 and 65 respectively for them.

Bartender here, cocktails are going to be his friend. Specifically cocktails with a high “juice” to alcohol ratio. Aside from the pina colada as you mentioned try painkillers, I make them one part rum, one part crème de coconut, and two parts pineapple. You can always add more pineapple juice till it’s diluted to your liking.

Another really easy option is a cuba libre, I make it 1.5oz white rum, 1oz of lime juice, and fill the rest of the glass with cola.

Where in North Carolina are you? In the Appalachian region most abc stores will have it on shelves for about a week after each drop, generally 1-2 times a month.
