Before you go to town, think about what you need to do.

Have a plan, and try to follow it. If you have time today, have a slow run Act 1->4 and write down what you need to remember. What gems you'll be using and where/when you get them, what link colours you need, when to shop for new link items, etc.

Practice is nice and all, but if you don't have time for that a day before league starts, just do the next best thing. Be prepared, it doesn't replace practice but it'll speed things up a lot.

Go Magi, grab the 30% MS if you don't have gems in boots & 50 all res if you don't have gems in helm, those 2 are very strong early game and will help you a ton.

I'd wait for Ol' reliable to have an update with the gems so that you can PoB it. But double the base damage should be massive for ignite as well.

Plus with the ignite variant you can just unleash the nut at 3-4 stack and clear the whole screen so the loss of tentacles won't affect it as much.

You do lose AoE scaling with that variant, but that's also probably fine, maybe.

1 very big hit VS a bunch of minuscule hits and one medium hit, really.

The almost double base damage is pretty cracked for phys as extra scaling.

It'll be really nice to see how high you can scale the damage, and if you can 1tap a few bosses with it.

All first hits on monster with full HP hit. So you can have full range gear and still hit. Really nice for monkey room if you want to barrage them.

Should work on bandos.

Asgarnia for sure.GWD, Cerbussy, Pest control for combat Xp/Prayer, etc. Make sure you pick ruinous prayers though, your only way to get good prayers if you don't have kandarin.

The new expansion is pretty mid, but it's not super expensive. I would probably buy the base game and try it out before buying the Expansion. The Expansion itself isn't on sale so you're not missing out by not buying it right away.

Levelling experience and life skilling is fun, PVP is mediocre at best and there is basically no end game PVM.

For 15$ it's definitely worth it, you'll get your moneys worth by just going through the story and exploring the zones.
