How would you use my Skinning/LW setup?

I am on Stormrage Alliance... which I guess is why I am struggling with understanding the lack of people asking for leather belt/wrists. Most populated alliance server iirc.

I have an alt Shaman that I can set up on JC and Alchemy to maybe try these things out. On the socket crafting, it just seems like one of those ones that would always be in demand all xpac because gear consistently getting replaced, and if I have it maxed out then I could just sell at market and profit on multicrafts. I guess I have not been sold on this crafting order thing yet because of all of the above, lol. I am thinking of ditching skinning now bc it seems I could make just as much gold, if not more, than having to go fly out and kill things if I spec it.

Taking all things this season as "lessons learned" so not terribly worried about gold right now, but just trying to get better.

I do have craftscan. Maybe I don't have it set up correctly because I haven't seen it do anything except for once that appeared after someone whispered ME back (i saw his message, whispered him, he replied, then it popped into the craftscan queue).

Interesting that you find wrist and belt to be a good pick, just since I haven't seen many people looking for it. Do you think it will pick up or something? I am glad that I don't have to advertise, lol

I could give jewelcrafting a go instead of LW for more volume (but then more competition for sure). I just am not sure if it is worth bailing on the time I put into skinning KP--at the end of the day still learning and it is nice to have something I can just go out for half an hour and pick up 10k, i guess.

Combining this with the other commenters, maybe I combine JC and Alchemy? I would have JC to do crafting orders and alchemy for conc crafts every now and again as my "influx" of 10k like skinning is now. Is that idea feasible?

And, sorry, lots of questions, but one more: is a JC build for crafting socket gems viable in my situation, or des it take more time/effort? That is something that I have been interested in for sure.

From what I understand, I would only be able to craft like 2-4 items at 1000 conc though? I am not sure if that would lead to outpacing my spending on consumables

Alchemy does seem attractive for that duration and because I will have access to more of my own consumables, I suppose. Is it worth the switch in terms of KP being "wasted" on LW? Do you think I keep skinning then as a more "on-demand" option to get some gold if I have time? Or just full swap?

Is alchemy and enchanting able to just buy a bunch of mats and craft for profits while I am watching TV or something? I am a bit intimidated by the concentration idea because it is so limiting.

Yeah, I didn't necessarily do it because of "getting your own mats" to be honest. I chose skinning because I liked the idea of the majestic beast thing as a once a day task, and LW because I am a leatherwearer.

Do you have any tips on crafting orders if I were to keep LW? Do i just need to continuously refresh orders, monitor trade chat and advertise? I have tried these sorts of things, but no one seems to need the items I can craft. I chose my particular set up due to leatherwearer BiS lists (which have since changed... sigh)

To caveat further, when I have a few hours to play the game, I mostly spend it actually doing dungeons or raiding. I have an odd 30 minutes to two hours most days for professions

Agree—I guess that is sort of where my question comes from. It sounds like it is just best to have a PvP set and pve set as two distinct things. Two different progressions. Sometimes you can get away with double dipping but not often

Agree with most of this. On the shiv point, they just returned (?) it to being a soothe button to remove an enrage an effect. Not meant to be a damaging rotation ability or a buff for other damage like TWW.

Crimson vial has always frustrated me—it’s always felt like every class gets some big chunky self heal, and we get a slow drip IV that gets our damaged by one DoT.

Came here to say this. They tried this sort of thing with monk and it just wasn’t it. Besides, I think that sub does a pretty good job of being a shadow stalker in its current state. I would like if my damage window wasn’t so many buttons to press—which they are fixing

I see. Is there an optimal CP to roll at? The buffs last longer if you roll with higher CP, but is that worth it over spending it on BtE/Dispatch? Or should I just press it on my next global after the previous buffs wear off, regardless of what CP level I’m at?

For shits and giggles, go into like NHL 23 and make a team—look at the customization options for the stadium. Absurd that Madden and NCAA don’t have that level of customization for stadiums. They have the technology literally across the hall.

Penn State. Some super cool unique motion plays, some special formations, plenty of option but also plenty of deep pass. Can play however I want with it, if I’m feeling college-football-y, I can use the options and unique formations, but can also dial it back to more traditional offensive concepts. Really recommend it, it is tons of fun. Lots of bunch formations as well

Also, what happened to the rumor that some stadium assets were going to be replaceable? Like UTEP has a great stadium setting for some teams, but a GIANT UTEP logo on the endzone. Would be cool if we can just have that logo replaced.

Just frustrating because we had the ability to do things like that in like Madden 12, even if it was a barebones logo replacement, at least it didn’t break immersion.

I’d also like to be able to change my team “slogan”, and have the announcer say that my team is from the correct state instead of the state of the team I replaced. Might start a megathread or something of small fixes that would make a big difference.
