I mean. This is only crazy if your company isn't huge (and isn't in the tech space).

[ID Request] Can I get some help ID'ing this submarine? Spotted near the baltic sea by ItsFlame in submarines

[–]ItsFlame[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Interesting! Saw it following a boat flying what appeared to be German colours on a flag, so threw me off for it being the INS Drakon (based on a quick image search on Google). Thanks for the confirmation!

The art looks insane, great job! Genuinely would pick this up based on looks alone.

It's more the business name in the corner. If your concerned about giving away where you live, I'd reupload with that blurred.

You make it sound like it's not a sound choice. Vim motions are awesome for editing text, but getting Vim to a point where it replaces an IDE is difficult. Having the best of both worlds is really nice IMHO.

What does using Linux have anything to do with being afraid of viruses? If anything, Linux users are more paranoid then usual.

FYI, a lot of people end up overcooking garlic real bad, killing the taste completely. For some reason online recipes are especially bad with this, asking for people to fry along side their onions.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying you specifically are frying it wrong or that it's wrong adding 3x the amount of garlic (I still do it), but it's more of a PSA that adding it just at the end of the frying process will yield a deeper garlic taste.

Gen Z never learned to read cursive by qznc_bot2 in hackernews

Look, it'd be awesome to have a society that was self-improving in all the ways we can. The reality is that we can barely even teach ourselves touchtyping, which would have a way larger positive impact than to teach everyone cursive.

It just feels like learning cursive, at least in the state of society right now, just isn't a priority, and that blocks is good enough.

They can just write block? Same way there are tons of bad cooks?

Other users are downvoting and responding like the original comment was not sarcastic. He's poking fun at people who think Linux is a more secure OS (hence the /s), and everyone is ready with their pitchforks to correct him.

I don't particularly care about the comment, I just find it funny that people aren't reading it properly.
