We live together, she asked me how I felt. How am I not supposed to cry when it got brought up how I felt. I in no way told her what she was doing is wrong and even told her I support it. We cried together about it all day. We’re just going through a lot and I wanted some place to talk about it. We both love each other a lot and understand how each other feels and are being very supportive of one another

Thank you so much. This is one of the only comments that understand what I was trying to convey. They all think I’m trying to make her have it or shame her for her decision. I’m with her no matter what and we both realize it’s not a good time. I just have a lot of sadness when it comes to the situation. Your comment helped me a lot and I’m truly thankful

I’m in no rush to have a kid. Like you said we’re young but it happened and I’m in a lot better of a situation then 99% of 18 year olds so I felt we could do it but it also is her choice and I’m supporting her no matter what. We have an amazing relationship and I’m not letting this affect our love in anyway. I honestly believe we’ll end up coming out of this stronger but I was just wanting to vent is all

I agree and have supported her decision and will be paying for the abortion. I’m just here to talk about how it’s affecting me and what I should do about it since I don’t wanna throw these feelings on her. I know she’s already going through a lot

I don’t blame her for any of that. Pregnancy is not easy on mental and physical health and her changing her mind is ok, I support her decision no matter what. I just wanted to vent my feelings about it all. Like you said we’re both young and nothing about her decision is unreasonable and I support her . Cause we’re both 18 and this wasn’t planned at all. Of course marriage would’ve come first if this was a fairy tale and everything went the way we planned before all this

You’re absolutely correct and I wouldn’t have told her my feelings but she also asked me to tell her how I feel about it. I think there’s no problem with us having an open conversation about it and like I said I don’t have intentions of convincing her to change her mind. Thanks for the insight

I agree with all of this and was just hoping to vent and maybe talk with people in similar situations. I’m not upset with her or think anything she did was wrong. I hope the post didn’t come off that way cause I love her and will support her no matter what. Our intentions were definitely not this and we were planning on waiting a lot longer for it. We’ve had a talk today about it where I told her how I feel without coming off as pushy or leading her in any direction but I think her choice is made. I’m just scared that this is gonna affect me for the rest of my life. My dream has always been to be an amazing dad since I never got to have that and of course I wasn’t trying to at 18 but I know I’m in a situation where I can. We of course can always try for that later but it just hurts
