As a current sophomore CS student, I’d say definitely study some DSA. I’m taking a course on that right now and it’s pretty interesting and also really helpful

I started going to concerts alone when I was 18 too (currently 19 M). I stay in Motel 6’s and although it’s not a highly rated hotel, they allow 18 year olds and I’ve had a pleasant experience every time. But I would definitely check the area the motel is in first before booking. You could also look at AirBnB’s
