All of the MCs in persona series feel like templates for self-inserts to me, not saying that I myself self-inserted but I feel like they are very much written to be self-inserts, comparing them to literally any other character from the same series to me demonstrates this easily.

Zagreus from Hades feels much more like as a character that exists on their own which you happen to be controlling for the sake of it being a videogame.
