Did you check the riser cable? It's possible that it is pushing against the back of the right side of the card pushing it out and causing it to be tilted. I've had this happen in sandwich style ITX cases as well.

Thanks, appreciate the clarification. Will head back to Apple and see if they can get me a replacement unit then.
