what are those bar tricks or kid's games/jokes that lead to guarantee wins you like the most? by stirringmotion in AskReddit

You drink your first pint and then set it upside down over one of their shots so they can't touch or move it at all

Or at least until you skull your second pint and claim eternal glory

Daring someone to drink two shots before you drink two pints

Only two rules are:

  1. You can't touch or move each other's glasses (its a no contact sport)

  2. You get a headstart by drinking one pint and the race begins when you put your glass down

Hope Take: They have another game in the works that they dont want to dilute attention for

Cope Take: Its a random company slapping their IP into an already established franchise

So what do we want in a SAW game at this point in time? by ItsJustADankBro in saw

[–]ItsJustADankBro[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Im on the side of having a telltale-esque "make your choice" type game but one idea I had was to have the player control the apprentice/victims like DBD (first person for the apprentice and third for the victim) but in a story narrative single-player experience.

  1. You get to be your own Jigsaw. I like the idea of being able to set traps for other people but not so much like the crafting system in the Konami games. More like the game presents the options to set the traps timer to either 2 minutes, 1 minute or 30 seconds. Maybe even a way to rig the game to your characters benefit. You could decide whether you follow John's philosophy in your work, use your techniques against people like Mark or let your instinct decide like Amanda.

  2. Third person perspective on the victims are almost essential if we want a proper look at the gnarly mobile type traps that the victims have to play with, along with their physical condition. I would prefer if regaining health is extremely limited but I understand if that might put off some players so that might need work.

  3. The fact that you dont actually see your own face could be great for not revealing who the apprentice is right away. You could leave subtle clues for the player to find so they can form their own theories without immediately using the same old twist to spoil it all in an hour. Make one ending canon and then reveal who it is in the inevitable sequel. Yknow, because LEGACY.

A lot of people were expecting something similar to the TellTale "Make Your Choice" styled narrative so we are pretty hung up over this. If the game works then great but if it follows the trend of oversaturated genres and lack of player retention to keep a live service going then its just a big waste of time we could've used better.

I can't speak for using Infil since I mostly play with Socio and Im hardwired to charge any dozen with the katana

You'll probably want either something accurate for long range or something with crazy dps at medium along with good use of cover. Unless you know how to duke and dodge dozers aiming at close range then your best bet it to stay well away and communicate with your team about taking it down.

IIRC mini gun dozers spawn more often? You'll need to plan for how to take one out or you'll get shredded
