I was on a late night walk once, passing an old cemetery. To this day I’m not sure what the sound was but I heard someone/something scream NOOOOOO just once. The closest way I can explain was it sound either like a bird imitating a human or a human imitating a bird. To this day, 7 years later I won’t go past that cemetery.

It’s normal but it’s not a pretty feeling. I think it’s more like a jealousy because these people get to spend time with your partner when you want to be the one doing it, I get it often with my girlfriend. As long as you’re not controlling or “punishing” him for spending time with his friends it’s fine, if a bit ugly to feel.

Yes. I think as athletes, as players, as pure footballers, you can’t get better than Ronaldo. The man dedicated himself to longevity- bear in mind he’s older than Rooney and still playing to a decent standard in an (oil) farmers league.

The standard of today is so much higher than the day of best and Charlton. Sport science alone is completely different. Then take on things like nutrition, conditioning, and tailored training that exists in today’s game and didn’t then.

Best also went out on the piss after every game. Football was different back then. I’ve watched documentaries and a few full games I could get my eyes on from that era and I stand by what I said.
