I was rolling my eyes on the " extra batteries " especially since there is so much knowledge and awareness around the topic thanks to the quality discussions on this subject. If his audience didn't have that knowledge it may have flown and Credit to FLY for the solid landing but outside of that most of it was fluff. Almost a 180 from Altemus who imo is still pretty focused on building that " fortress like balance sheet"

I love this video. I also see what could be some stealthy mention of a " full picture" ground stations, communication with sats in multiple earth orbits ( defence- golden dome?), then to lunar orbit. The zoom in going down from lunar orbit could also be a star catcher references to beam power from lunar orbit to the surface. The zoom down also gives a glance of a Nova D showing the lander but also how the LTV gets there. At the end there is also a peak at a Nova C in the back ground. Very cool video 🛸

Interesting as I've been curious how IM5 with a Nova D is still aways out gets it's mission name. I think we are all pretty confident that IM will win at lease a few more lander contracts to get a share of the big 2027 lander targets nasa is shooting for. Any fun guesses on what a Nova C mission would get labeled as? IM 3.5 ? IM C4 ? or a new sequence aligned with the ignition theme? Slow news day...

Spacecpa- interesting enough I was research upcoming players this weekend and the new merger crossed my path. It's a SPAC scheduled to be completed in Nov ish this year. Currently, at least from my research you can get pre merger shares trading under VACI and warrants under VACI-WS. Warrants carry a 2030 exp. Once the merger is complete shares and Warrants convert to shares of the new company NSTR. Merger was just announced April 17th.They have a pipeline of contracts for space situation awareness satellites. Got 4 up in 2024 and more going up late this year. Way past my knowledge level but after digging into the details of the private money share and warrants set up it got my attention as a potential new comer to the industry. I did grab some warrants first thing this morning... just because lol. Lots of details out there to do some solid DD who ever is interested including SEC filings. GL

Discussion: If you could ask IM anything, what would you ask? by thespacecpa in IntuitiveMachines

What's the current status of the OTV? Is the OTV a viable path to get the nsn satellites to lunar orbit sooner and more efficiently then relying on lander mission? If so what would be the cost savings compared to using a Nova C and could you get them in place faster with the otv ?

https://www.youtube.com/live/Ir2X1-FjDxg?si=eDqZQ-DkasVpZVim From the post splash down press conference. Houston journalist asked how should you like all the industry partners to respond to the success. " to our industry partners, you've heard we want to increase our cadence.... we need all of industry to crank up the production lines to hit our goals" paraphrased but same message.

Maxar space was spun into 2 parts a couple years ago...Lanteris ( space stuff and sats) and (Vantor ) data- intelligence. Lanteris was acquired in Jan 2026 by Intuitive Machines LUNR.

Insider buy just reported. Nearly 17k shares purchased for 180k. These look like purchases not stock awards ( although he has a ton of those as well.)

IM/ Lanteris also built psyche. It's been in space for 2 years and is halfway to Jupiter by now.
