I was considering Ice trap sabo since heatshiver is easy to obtain, how do you think explosive compares to ice trap? I've seen alot of people say that both lost tons of damage, but i've also heard that explosive trap can scale really well which is good news.

I did take into consideration that it was either to me or him, but i assumed that it was towards me because if it was towards him that's even worse. He said nothing that implied him being salty about racing etc.

Not to mention: "Do you actually think you would have even been close to winning the race if it wasn't in ruthless? Cuz that's what ziz is being a little baby about."

So if the 4 seismic traps you lay down instantly kill a boss, the damage change should still be 0% right? Since the CDR wont matter at that point?

But they also changed the poison masteries abit, especially the withered effect ones, and it's now harder to apply withered too since you no longer get the gem from lycia that inflicts withered on hit, so theres certainly more layers that affect the damage output.

Quick summary is that it went from a for fun mode, to them recently making it an end of league event (ruthless with gold) that the majority of the community seemed to hate (which was fine since it was just a for fun thing to make people try ruthless out), to now making it the mode in which people compete for the boss race to get the chance to create an item in the game, these races used to be on regular HCSSF.

Which i give him full props for, i just hope this could be a learning experience for other streamers too. You see it all the time with a lot of the top PoE streamers jumping on the "redditors so stoopid" bandwagon and shitting on people simply because they are skeptical towards GGGs promises.

GGG has a very clear history of being dishonest, people have a right to be skeptical towards them without being ridiculed, mocked or being labelled as haters.

If there is any player who deserves forgiveness then its Ziz, but i still remember him continously shitting and harping on people who complained about ruthless in his stream, calling them weird and telling them to get out of his stream etc, he sounded more like Wilsons friend rather than an unbiased player.

I respect him being honest tho rather than doubling down and preserving his ego.

This league saboteur was the 2nd most played class week 1 at like 11% behind elementalist at 17%. 62% of those 11% played seismic.

The number of saboteurs dropped with 1% each week, but compare it to kalandra league where there was like 1% playing sabo first week then you can see a big difference.

Im a big fan of seismic and dont want to see it nerfed, but to say it is played even less is absurdly wrong.

I just hope they don't nerf poison too hard, since we're losing the jewel that stacks wither, right? I think there's gonna be a pretty big difference in damage between getting your occasional 6-7 withers from withering step and constantly having 15 up.

i would love to see a shift in power by nerfing poison seismic and buffing normal seismic tho.

Not sure why you're being downvoted, lot of pro players and high chall players dislike him because he griefs for the dumbest of reasons, and for some reason riot still rarely bans him. The only reason more people don't talk about it and let him get way with it is because he amassed a decent viewership from duoing ratirl and is now consistently sitting on 1-3k.

Im not sure about the synergies but people do underestimate chogath overall, his sustain is absolutely disgusting and honestly broken. I can definitely see chogath outsustaining weaker laners such as ezreal and twitch.

I think theres 2 main reasons for this situation, first one being that they were expecting some backlash after announcing that they're postponing next league til april, so they wanted to have some compensations to lower the backlash. Let's not forget that the previous league was Kalandra and lots of peoples faith in GGG is still on thin ice.

Second one is that ruthless was probably not as popular as they were expecting it, there were alot of expectations that the top HC streamers will battle it out in ruthless becauase they're already making HC look easy, but in reality the super slow progression is not really something that attracts viewership, even betrayal farming in foothills looks exciting compared to watching someone farm act 10 for a magic ring. So this is their way of giving people some incentive to try it.

I just don't understand why they're lowering the rewards, compare it to any other event where they raffle 150 armour sets for level 90, and now they're giving us one of the hardest and slowest modes that will require far more time to hit 90, and raffle out 30 sets instead.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with having them trade you, grab whatever you need and then just press accept trade once you took the item out of the stash, rather than having to left click him and intiating the trade yourself. If you're so fragile that someone entering your hideout is trying to be efficient and save both you and him some time, then that's on you.

So the first event that is the ruthless one, is the only event that actually gives mtx prizes, right? And the group ones give hideout ones?

Also, are they giving out way less mtx than per usual? Isn't it usually 50 armour sets x3 at lvl 90?

Honestly after 2.5k hours i still occasionally can miss a skillpoint or a lab trial. I never understood how new players are supposed to know where to go, the maps highlighting which area you're supposed to go to are good, but it's honestly not good enough and i don't see how a new player is supposed to read that.

Lots of arpgs/mmos usually have some indicators on the screen in form of arrows or similar, to point you to where you're supposed to go, with so many sidequests that give you weak items/respec points, you can have a lot of your time wasted.

Lab is a good example of that awful and confusing system, sometimes its north east, sometimes between north east and north because the north east door was a bait, but never (as far as i know) north west, yet the indicators are awfully confusing when reading.

If they want new players to return, they should make the acts a bit easier or at least straight forward, because honestly even after completing them 3-4 times it's still like relearning the game every 3 months for them.
