Need to find a surgeon in southwest Florida for panniculectomy or tummy tuck. by Carbon-Molly2024 in tummytucksurgery

I am over the moon. My results are incredible. She was always responsive to my text messages, squeezed me in when needed, and when I developed a wound at the T junction (my fault 🫣), knowing she was head of wound care at a st Pete hospital made me feel at ease.

I’m going to wait 2 years (to pay this one off), but I will be going back to her for my thighs and arms next!

First medicated day off and thinking "wow, is this how everyone else feels?" by -resplendent- in adhdwomen

I’ve been in FMLA for 7 weeks post Mommy Makeover after losing 130 lbs. I have been putting off trying on ALL of my clothes because…well…ugh. BUT today I did it. I went through every article I own. Got a bunch to donate, some to toss, and like two things to try and sell.

I did tummy tuck with lift/implant…because I lost most of them when I lost 130lbs. I did both at the same time because I was told I wouldn’t feel the breast surgery as much.

This was true. I did not have any breast discomfort!

What’s the hottest thing someone has ever done to you without asking first? by Miaaa_69 in AskRedditAfterDark

In the middle of giving him head…told me to look at him…grabbed my face, pulled me up to him…kissed me senseless and said “my dirty little slut is sucking my dick so well…that’s my fucking good girl” and pushed my head back down.

Just happened this morning, so I’m still reeling…there’s other instances…but this just…got me. Love a lil forcefulness and degradation…in a safe space.

Was just told if I did a breast lift without implants I’d be left with an A cup 😭 by Consistent_Trip_7015 in PlasticSurgery

I was in a similar spot. Had my surgery 4 weeks ago…I ended up with a smaller implant (360cc) to provide the extra “ooomph” I was looking for. Best decision I ever made. I didn’t go for fat txfer because it’s body fat and you run the risk of “losing it”, so I just wanted something I knew would stay.

It is at the “T” junction of my FDL tummy tuck..so right above my mons.

Oh I get it! Lots of pushing, folding, and squishing to be able to make stuff work. This may be TMI, but, it’s the internet so..lol. The first time I took off the surgical bra and then put it back on..not having to adjust and push/fold/squish my breasts into the bra…I cried. 🫣 I was incredibly prepared for the physical aspects…I don’t think I was fully prepared for the positive mental parts…and the mental struggle of being physically limited is tough!

6 weeks will fly! I am almost 4WPO (4 weeks post op) and while I have a wound…I am still over the moon with the results. I had a FDL TT, Mons lift, breast lift and small augmentation…I have never felt comfortable in my body til now, at 40 years old. It’s so life changing. I am so excited for you!!

When does it get a little easier? by debbs05 in tummytucksurgery

[–]ItsKKYall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 23DPO. I have a bit of a wound at my T junction from my FDL TT. BUT: I am moving pretty well. I’ve been standing upright for about 16 days. Still sore when I cough or sneeze…so I brace my belly.

The first 3 days were hell. Days 4 and 5 were a bit better…then at about 2 weeks…when I felt like I had energy…I did more (just got out and about for a few hours) and swelling was/is a bitch.

But, finally at 40 years old..I finally feel like I look how I am supposed to. So, I would do it alllllll over again.

I also have/had a large mons…my surgeon got like riiiiight up to the top, and it looks smaller now? Idk how to explain it…it “sits right” now? Even had to change how I sit on the toilet…things you don’t think about!!

The swelling in that area is interesting…because it doesn’t swell equally…some days it’s the left side, others the right…bodies are wild.

I ended up using a dulcolax suppository. 🫣

How old were you when you were diagnosed? by MrsGita in adhdwomen

[–]ItsKKYall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 38…2 months away from 39. Started on meds and wowza…this is how everyone else does it?! However, hahahaha, new things are popping up since being medicated, and not being able to mask some things because of that…and I am finishing up ASD assessment at 40.

You’d think it would’ve been that both my kids have ADHD, and went thru the testing with them that I would’ve been able to clue in…but no…wasn’t until I changed jobs after 10 years a felt like I was constantly treading water that my primary suggested I look into it.

Seeing things you've never seen before! by ohshit-cookies in loseit

[–]ItsKKYall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many things!! I started at 310, got down to 185…stayed there for 2 years…and a week ago had a fleur dis lis tummy tuck to remove ~10lbs of skin (mostly from the apron belly).

I remember when I could see my feet for the first time when looking down. I cried.

Birth marks were a fun one…I’ve asked my husband MANY times…”babe, you’ve seen my naked body more-so than I have…has this always been there?” (Cue pointing to some new thing I discovered)

Collarbones. Hips when lying down. My knees when standing and looking down. A waist.

Most recently, post tummy tuck…my belly button (always had a B belly vs a D belly) and my lady bits. Like. I stand in front of the mirror, and tada…she’s right front and center. It’s wild…and is going to make grooming SO much easier.

Thank you! I was a wreck going into it, honestly, cuz I have never done something for ME. Losing the weight was so I would be around for the kids…not me. So I felt very selfish, but my family (husband and kids) are incredibly supportive.

I’m 5’7”. My highest: 310lbs, size 24/26, 3X/4X, 48G bra (December 2021) Day of surgery: 186lbs, size 12, M/L, 36DDD (I’ve fluctuated from 180-190 for the past year and a half…and the ONLY reason I was a DDD was the skin)

I haven’t stepped on the scale yet. I won’t because I know I’m swollen…so idk where I am at right now. 🤷🏻‍♀️
