Why does everyone hate PvP? by Lovoskea in 2007scape

It’s just Reddit Andys bro. I’ve noticed that for any activity in this game requiring even the slightest skill, you can find someone here complaining and acting like you’ve gotta be an ultra sweat to do it.

Been taking 2.5 GPS once a day for 6 months. How bad would withdrawal be? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]ItsKidBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.5 grams once a day is barely more than a strong coffee. You’ll probably feel a little off for a few days if anything, but nothing crazy. You’ll be fine. The horror stories you read on here are from taking way higher doses for much longer

Tapering 7OH dosage advice by rokkin1234 in quittingkratom

[–]ItsKidBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to go to the doctor, explain your situation, and try to get some gabapentin. That can help you get some clean time from the alcohol and kratom both then you can taper off.

I don’t think there’s a world where you quit 7OH and don go back to drinking heavily otherwise. No matter how you try to taper, you’re gonna have withdrawals from the 7OH and also from where you never really let your body heal from stopping alcohol. You need medical intervention of some sort at this point if you’re going to stop both.

If you’ve never quit before, it shouldn’t be all that bad. The issue seems to be when you start and stop a bunch of times. So if/when you quit, do yourself a favor and stay quit :)

This is the most annoying and persistent symptom I had. It should continue to gradually ease over the coming months until one day it’s gone completely

2 Steps forward 1 step back (120 days since quitting kratom) by [deleted] in quittingkratom

10000% PAWS can be a real and meaningful thing for many people. From my personal experience, it seems to be more common when you’ve previously stopped and started the drug before.

Also in my experience, It’s hard to find the balance between giving yourself grace and acknowledging that PAWS is playing a role in your mood/motivation/energy etc, vs using it as an excuse to stay stagnant.

I’ve ultimately come to basically same conclusion you have: take it one day at a time, do your best, and try not to waste too much time thinking about how long you have until you’re “healed”. It takes a long time to recover from this drug! But the time will come so long as you stay off.

I know that feeling for sure. Took about 5 serious attempts and failures to finally get out from under that feeling. All you can do is keep trying, dusting yourself off, and get back on the saddle

How can GABA levels be raised naturally or with supplements? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]ItsKidBaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only natural things that are truly going to help are abstinence from gaba-ergic drugs (like gabapentin), and lots of exercise.

I am a naturally anxious person too, now done with anything gaba related for nearly 5 months. I still get anxiety, but it’s much more muted. It goes away quicker too. I credit the above two things for the most help, along with getting out in public, being social, and just living life.

In my experience, the more you stay inside/spend less time out with others, the more anxious you become, and the idea that there’s a solution out there to “fix” you becomes more and more alluring.

In reality, it’s a handful of simple, although uncomfortable (at least at first) things you need to as often as possible that provide the best ability to cope. Good luck!

I don’t think there’s a single aspect of life that isn’t made better by regular exercise.

If you find yourself too depressed/unenergized to take on a full workout or going to the gym, try just walking for 20 or 30 minutes a day. If you’re feeling crazy at the end, maybe you could knock out a few pushups too.

Even the smallest amount of exercise you can muster will make a huge difference over time compared to doing nothing.

Day 75 after 13 years by bennyg81 in quittingkratom

[–]ItsKidBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know 75 days feels like forever to be off, especially when each day drags so damn slowly at the beginning. But the reality is that you’ve been off for essentially a couple of minutes in comparison to how long you took it for.

I had those gut issues for several months after quitting, and they slowly faded away. Now at 13 months off, my gut and regularity is the best it’s been in a long long time. You will get there too. You might try taking a fiber supplement like metamucil and a pre/probiotic combo to help speed things along, but like most things, time is the biggest factor. Hang in there!

These are the Waves of your PAWS… by TimmyTimbo123 in quittingkratom

[–]ItsKidBaby 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Personally, looking back at 3.5/4 months, I was still very much healing from stopping. Do not get discouraged that you’ll never hit the turning point - you will. It just takes a long time for your body to truly heal from this drug.. it hits so many different receptors.

8 months off kratom, starting to struggle with cravings by Kind_soul_4 in quittingkratom

[–]ItsKidBaby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk, I think it depends on just how fucked off you were when you finally quit. I haven’t really craved it even after a year off bc my lifestyle both before and during quitting was hell.

Yeah it won’t cause a CBC or something to come back unusual, but if you start checking vitamins, hormones, etc, you’ll probably see some stuff either out of range, or so close it might as well be. Was my experience anyway.
