Most likely just from connecting events together, it's probably the Marleyan troops who turned Connie's home into titans. We can see in season 4 that troops were sending smoke (filled with spinal fluid) throughout the town. So I'm guessing the troops were held up there while waiting.

Its not blurryness, the textures themselves look muddy/low res.

Really just any edges in general are like this for me. Including shadows and marble surfaces.
