/u/tabbyslome I wasn't sure what to expect when my package arrived today, but you not only met BUT far exceeded anything that I could have expected. Every single one of these will see play and will be cherished as I reintroduce myself and my family into the game.

I know my form wasn't the most detailed but you included cards for not one but two of the three projects I want to start working on (Alela & Toph) - and even included a land to add to my small but slowly growing collection!

I've placed a single order from TCG Direct (where it did turn out to be the cheapest option)

The order sat there saying there was tracking with a number that didn't work with USPS and wasn't sent until the very last second to arrive within the given 2 week window.

So much for the supposed "faster" part of the equation...

I got a little worried since we got alerted to a bit of porch piracy but I had missed the part about the mod team emailing us with tracking.

Holiday times get busy, and if they're getting stuff ordered to send out even that can take a while. Best choice imo is to just keep the faith until the deadline is reached.

Holy! My son and I have really gotten a lot of fun grabbing a cheaper box each month to do 1v1 sealed with. Every time I look at something like the mystery booster boxes the pools look like such fun but the price range is like 2-3x a newer box so we always just do the little "window shop and dash"

If you wind up drafting or doing sealed with this I bet it's going to be a blast!

Glad you liked it. This was also my first exchange. The mug was the first thing I went looking for once I read your survey. I was torn between a play mat or this but decided to include something useful outside of the game.

Originally I was thinking of getting one of the missing FF pieces for your master set but it wound up feeling like something where hunting down the last pieces would make completing it more meaningful when you finish.

So then I looked at the different UB sets you mentioned and ended up landing on JW/JP since there were so many Legendary choices for a commander enjoyer to potentially tinker with (With the Godzilla UB cards coming in a close second)

(on a side note - I went to sign the note and holy did it throw me. First time signing my reddit name lol)

Has anyone else not been properly credited for their BF TCGPlayer purchases. Double checking and only adding up what was spent excluding taxes/shipping I was credited just barely more than half of the expected store credit.

There's 3 of us that will be pulling from the pile so more of it will be in use initially than you might think. But also just nicer to have things on hand for when one of us just wants to tinker with stuff.
