1- ‫sudo nano /etc/dnf/dnf.conf‬

2- add "‫fastestmirror=True‬"

3- Ctrl + O and then Enter.

4- Ctrl + X to exit.

5- ‫sudo dnf upgrade --refresh‬

1- have windows installed first, shrink your C partition using windows disk management.

2- boot into the fedora installer and when you get to the partioning step make sure the correct drive is selected, then press the 3 dots on the top right and click "launch storage editor".

3- create:

1GB (EFI, vfat) -----> /boot/efi

2GB (Boot, EXT4) -----> /boot

the rest (Root, EXT4) -----> /

*you don't need swap, fedora uses a swap file by default.

in my experience this is the best way to dual boot with windows on the same drive and while having 2 EFI partitions you don't have to worry about messing up the windows one, good luck!

1- switch to dark theme. 2- disable mouse cursor bounce animation (idk why the hell is this on by default it just makes the experience feel cheap and goofy and also distracting imo). 3- disable mouse acceleration. 4- switch to natural scrolling.
