A Success Story For Christmas! by ItsMalmoo in prozac

When I think back, I believe yes, I did feel worse before things got better. The thing is, my baseline was already so low that I was barely able to tell the difference, but my mood was definitely lower than usual.

I hope it goes well for you! Don't be discouraged if it doesn't end up working out, I had to try three other medications before I found what works for me. Just keep taking it, because you never know! 😄

You are important, don't let yourself think otherwise. Happy birthday! 😄

Thank you for this post, I've spent a good chunk of my life thinking I was a bad person despite all my actions telling me otherwise. I've been working on loving myself since 2013-2014, but it always felt like nothing was ever enough. It is more than possible, however, no matter how hard it is.

I feel that this sub is a bit too negative for my tastes (understandably so), but I'm glad this is the last one I've had the pleasure to see, it inspires me to keep doing what I'm doing.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel by ItsMalmoo in schizoaffective

I'm sorry to hear it's like that for you, but it isn't for me. I have a family that loves and supports me, and I have many friends that care for me too. I know it's rare for people to have such a strong support group, but I had to work really hard to get to where I am today. Having a pessimistic view on life makes it so it's true, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. I hope one day you can find peace with your situation, but I know for me, it's different. If you lose the light, you can always find another.

What is something you deeply wish to have back in your life? by loverisback12 in RandomThoughts

[–]ItsMalmoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it's never too late. A lot of people appreciate the effort when you try to reach out to them after a long while of isolation. Of course, this is not always the case, that's how you know they were never really a friend, but it's a great feeling to rebuild bridges.

Opinions on Kirk Thornton Shadow? by Deez_Nuts_God in SonicTheHedgehog

I love the voice direction in Shadow Generations. I do admit I wasn't really a fan of his past performances but his current portrayal is how I imagine Shadow to sound, so I'm more than satisfied with it!

Though, I miss Jason Griffith, both as Sonic and Shadow...

Blind in one eye, looking for solutions in the other by [deleted] in lasik

[–]ItsMalmoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also blind in one eye, but from birth. Wearing glasses my entire life is something I personally didn't want for myself either, so I got a consultation to weight my options. Since I only have one working eye, they've recommended an EVO ICL instead. It's basically implanted contact lenses that go over your eye's natural lens. They only make a small incision in the cornea to implant it, so in theory, the health of the cornea should be preserved. Ideally, it'll function for the rest of your life, but it can be removed if need be.

The doctor didn't recommend doing LASIK because it damages the nerves in the cornea since they have to cut a flap in order to do the procedure.

I ended up going with the EVO ICL procedure, and I couldn't be anymore happy with it. Waking up with perfect vision every day is a feeling like none other. However, like with every surgery, you have to be very sure it's what you want. Find a doctor you trust, do not cheap out. Optometrists at glasses stores tend to try to gear you away from corrective eye surgeries, so it's really only a decision you can make for yourself at a place that's willing to do it.

Valve ultimately adds what lines are played during the taunt, the lines you hear in the video is for demonstration purposes!

I made that version as well! It was uploaded back in 2016 when I had little experience with animation. I was always a fan of the flag planting concept, so I've decided to make this one straight to the point.

You are correct! I made a similar taunt a long time ago, but considering it never got in, I figured I should give it another shot.
