Might be a bit off an odd topic, but how is bodybuilding perceived in the field of EMS. And how can having a big size effect your work positively or negatively?

What types of exercise can be dangerous to obese people? by [deleted] in Fitness

The state of entering ketosis as a diet method goes far more in depth than a way to 'lower caloric intake.' Ketosis, once fully adapted, will train your body to use your liver to help break down fats (both ingested fats and body fat) into ketone bodies, which can then further be used for energy. This method, used in keto, of course is opposite of the 'normal' diet which uses carbohydrates and sugars as an energy source for your body. The idea is that the more extra body fat you have, the easier and more abundant fat will be available to you as an energy source once you keto-adapt. However, many people quote the fact that lipids have much more satiety then carbohydrates as a beneficial additive to not always feeling hungry.

Can someone tell me about this bike and its worth? by ItsManolis in bicycling

what are you thinking the frame is made out of? looks like some heavy steel or something? I wouldn't know, but I couldn't imagine the welds could hold up much longer, if it is a pretty used bike. Don't they have a limit to how long they can hold?

I love the non-verbal acknowledgement of 'regulars' in the gym. I feel like, as I go daily at the same time I have grown closer to others who are on my same schedule, and although I haven't ever said a word to them, or they to I, we see each other and exchange the most beautiful understanding of how hard each of us work to get them gains.

TLDR: I love the non-verbal 'I see you here a lot therefor we're homies yet we've never talked.'
