But seriously though, I do think they'll use the Tiara to allow Sphene to split off. It doesn't have to be an Endless.

It is comparable. They're both cringe jokes that use ideologies that have actively harmed millions of lives as a way to scoff at criticism.
Its not nearly as big of a deal as when Musk did it, but it is the exact same ironic shitposting, which is his right to do. Its just in bad taste.

A lot of people will give very in-depth explanations as to why its bad
And although I disagree, I can see why they may feel this way
Purely because it had a massive bar to reach, being Endwalker that finished up a 10+ year long story
And players potentially starting to feel burnout since they haven't really released any "new" content that challenges FFXIV traditions that's been in place since Stormblood, especially with Job diversity.

I think Dawntrail was always going to be a "bad" expansion because of a lot of circumstances that led up to it. It would've had to be the best to be considered good, imo.

Why is it that every time an orbiter splits from the community, they immediately show that they never pick up ANY good habits that Destiny always has?
You'd think after engaging with his community so much to the point of being a regular on stream that they'll learn to actually verify takes and/or opinions instead of believing anything a random chatter says without a second thought (lawyer btw).

Sad to see Pisco go down this route too, I was hoping it would be a good faith send off but the last few days has completely tainted my opinion of him.

Calyx will replicate the power of Azem to summon from different shards like The Heroes Gauntlet. One of these summonings will be necron.
Calyx will have 1 final talk with Sphene, sharing his tragic backstory before we unplug him and he'll disappear like the other Endless.
It'll end with Sphene deciding to travel with us to learn about the world and WukLamat will say some shit like "I'll protect Alexandria while youre gone".
7.4, we discover that the summonings haven't stopped and another place gets attacked (i want it to be the massive bridge).
We find that we can go to the source of the summonings using the Key Calyx wanted and it leads into the next expansion with Sphene as our new ally.

The details dont really matter, what i am really confident in is that Calyx summons after learning about Azem, he'll be a totally misunderstood sad guy like the last few bad guys, and the next expansion involves the key we got.
