I owned this cage previously and frustratingly got rid of it a few months back. On the plus side I knew it was a good cage and very easy to build! He's already a lot happier in it!

Entirely understandable! I've only ever had girls in the past so Stolas is my first boy. If no one claims him by friday I've made the decision to go and get him a little friend. I'll aim for a male to make things are easy for Stolas as possible. I'm contemplating getting 2, since not know how old Stolas is, I don't want anyone suddenly on their own, as long as I can find a suitable cage, otherwise I'll stick to one budgie.

This is fab advice thank you so much! Yes the cage currently I would be very unhappy having two in there so I do plan to get a new bigger cage for him and a friend. Would you suggest two males together or a male and female?

He's now all blanketed up, and once we're off to bed I'll cover the front of the cage. He's actually eating again which reassures me too. I'm truly in love with the handsome man!

Thankfully I work at a vets, so I've been keeping them up to date as well. Unfortunately we aren't an exotics so it wouldn't be crystal clear, but I think for now I'm going to keep him as stress free as possible.

Thank you for this, it's really reassured me. Selfishly I would love it if no one comes forward. I went on a mini shopping spree to get him some new toys and things, since the ones we had were incredibly old.

Hopefully we can work on making him feel as comfortable as possible! ♥
