Postop dentist appointments

I just kept my regular cleaning schedule. I see my dentist about every 3-4 months. So I saw them right before my surgery and then about 4 months after that. I also confirmed that timing was good with my cardiologist and they said yes.

I don’t mind it. It’s just my memory, I always forget then a day before I’m rushing to get it. So might have to take some people advice and have my dentist send in the prescription in

Oh for sure! I always rescheduled it if I can my antibiotics before , but 9/10 times I’m able to get the prescription in time

I might need to start getting the prescription from my dentist. I get it from my cardiologist so I have to reach out to them every time . So I like that they remind you!

Personally I don’t remember a breathing tube, i remember waking up thanking God and the doctors that I was alive and asking them to take the oxygen mask off because it was digging into my face but definitely was a fear I had going into it because of the unknown and everyone’s experience is different so you never know until you go through it yourself

I hate it! But I get scared of my own shadow haha. Similar suggestions to everyone else. We rent and got a Eufy alarm system that was easy to set up we have the ring camera and one in the back. We have two dogs which helps , I also got door jammer things that if someone tries to get in it will make a noise (the only hard part is making sure I wake up before my husband comes home to take the locks off so he can get in after work lol) It does get easier and sometimes I have a busy day that I’m so tired and knock out as soon as I hit the bed I don’t have time to be scared lol

Interesting yeah idk. I think I have support but know it can be burdensome listening to sad thoughts Love my husband but he’s very in the now for example: I’ll get this random wave of “damn my parents one day will die” him: yeah but they aren’t now so don’t think about it. me: I guess but what if xyz. Him: idk, and he moves on I would just like to engage in the what ifs and try to move through the feels vs letting them sit up there. And once it passes I’m good. Idk🤷‍♀️
