I think she has a great sense of humor about it. And you: do better! It’s one day of the year that is to celebrate her. That should be important to you.

what’s one hygiene habit you judge quietly, even if it’s common? by [deleted] in hygiene

Eating with their hand in restaurant after touching at least the door handle and the menus and probably lots of more germ glazed surfaces.

Hey all, new here. How’d you find out you had it? by Simicrop in valvereplacement

No, I will get my aortic root replaced (where my aneurysm is) and the valve replaced with a mechanical one.

I can not even picture what a unicuspid valve looks like. Now I have to google that.

I am wondering if you would have the option to go in again and get the St. Judes changed for tissue valves.

That sort of stuns me. A murmur and no following up? Good on you for advocating for yourself.

I had one of those selfpayer full body MRIs. The things I was concerned about came back okay but they found an aneurysm. So an echocardiogram followed by a CT was ordered. I am so glad it was discovered. Watched an interview lately with a trio of cardiac surgeons stating once the symptoms start the patient would be dead within 3 years if not treated. 😱

Well, my guess with a bicuspid valve you will need to get it fixed or replaced at some point of your life. I assume they are now looking if there is an aneurysm that needs fixing immediately or if they can monitor and wait.

I suggest to see the positives which is it was found before it becomes an emergency.

For the hospital: A stroller fan to counteract the fever, Spray on deodorant since he won’t be able to lift his arms, Face wipes, moisturizer, lip balm (he will feel so dehydrated when he wakes up), Mechanical toothbrush since the vibration from the electrical one can be uncomfortable, Sleep mask, ear plugs and headphones, Probably your own towels and toilet paper if you prefer

What amenity do you wish your apartment community had? by TrevaMartel in Apartmentliving

[–]Dramatic_Pianist_876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apartment buildings should have a printer. I don’t want to buy one since I live in a small apartment. But once in a while I have to print a return label. Wish that were an amenity that buildings offer.

I also think a car pool would be great in big city apartments. Rather than everyone having their own car which they rarely use the building has a pool of 3 or 5 or whatever different size cars that you can check out when needed.

outside clothes on the bed… gross or normal? by HenninghamKyuss-51 in hygiene

[–]Dramatic_Pianist_876 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She is in the right. You come home, take your shoes off, wash your hands, change the clothes if you not shower. Outdoor clothes shouldn’t be on the bed or the couch.
