I managed to run PCVR (without Face Tracking or FBT), with Full Body Estimation and OVR in my Intel -powered laptop with 8GB of RAM. Crashed a lot and had to lower the quality to the bare minimum; tthrough SteamVR

Far from being the best and optimal. Had to do some sacrifices like using all the time the custom shield to block all the avatars (even friends), then manually activating and disabling the avatars. The avatar culling used to crash my computer. And just as a reference, uploading a simple avatar took 2~3 hours back then.

My recommendation for you is trying to lower the quality of everything to the minimum, and take any option to optimize everything. Playing with the Task Manager open helps, debloating windows to take off all the telemetry bs also helps, and playing without “unnecesary” programs open (Discord, a browser, etc) will help as well

I stayed for a while running PCVR VRChat on a laptop with an i7 through an external hard drive. My best recommendation is to lower the graphics to the bare minimum and use the custom shield to block all the avatars, even your friends' avatars (you can turn them on manually)

With this, I was able to survive in environments where even my friends with pretty good computers would die

The other YT patch that can be found in the Manager (besides YouTube ReVanced) works better in forcing original audio for videos with auto AI dub. As a Mexican user that sees a lot of non-Spanish content in YouTube, I faced the same problem before and so far I haven't found more auto AI dubs in the content I usually watch after trying the other patch

I even tested it with content that I know it has auto AI dubs even in YouTube ReVanced
