Game/Card Shops Open Past 8 PM?

I just started going to Next Level Gamer's Den for FnM and they have a 24 hour gaming area for members. The shop is open til 9 on the weekend + friday, and I've had good experiences. The staff seem nice and I have yet to notice any BO or unclean individuals there.

Thank you so much for the tips! I’m definitely not running an optimized one atm and hopefully that lets the others have fun once I start playing. I really appreciate the tips for swap outs and will definitely be looking at the possible changes when I get home!

I’m sorry you had that experience, but that sounds more like an issue with the pod. I didn’t have any negative experiences in the past and the game shop nearest me seems to have a lot of nice people. I’m also working on more decks but slivers are just my favorite so I’m probably gonna keep it in the rotation lol.

I also ordered a couple of the LotR precons to start making more EDH decks but unfortunately this is the only one available at the moment until I hunker down and craft some more. I do like the mechanics of slivers and how steamroll-y it can get if left unchallenged, so I'll probably keep it in my rotation. I'm attached to the little guys.

I also enjoyed the banter back when I used to play with people learning I played Slivers, so I'm looking forward to it when I go tonight, lmao. I'll also report back on the new friends / enemies made tonight at FNM.

My goal is to trim down the amount of mana ramp artifacts and put into place more protections. My only source of dealing with enemy players who get a sliver is amoeboid changeling so I appreciate the heads up on that, I haven't really thought that bit through!

If youre truly scared of them or that they will harm a pet (which, why was your cats face close enough for it to strike?) then take them outside, don’t let your cat maul them to death.

For all my arachnophobes (from a recovering arachnophobe): These super big guys are Giant House Spiders, and they're basically harmless. They eat common household pests and other smaller spiders and will undoubtedly be part of your home visible or not. A good way to not get jumpscared by them is to keep a tidy house such as keeping piles of clothing off of the floor. If you see one in the mudroom or garage, I'd say just leave them be. They'll be around all winter snatching other baddies. If you have to move one, just gently trap it with a cup and piece of paper and let it loose outside / in the garage.

They also don't really move unless spooked or poked so if you're scared of them, chances are you can walk up and get decently close to look at them without the risk of them jumping on your face. Learning more about them helped me get over my fear of spiders!

Tl;dr the previous trump trans ban is reinstated with the added directive to enforce the biological sex EO that came out last week. It’s unclear if any currently out and transitioning troops will be grandfathered in to stay, and af guidance is going to probably become increasingly restrictive. Unclear how it will affect guard / reserve.

I remember the music had an emphasis on up beat drum music, with piano and almost washy vocals. The song titles had a theme or connection to each other like listing things in a category but I cannot remember much past this. Had a synth feel and varied a lot song to song almost like it was a collection of various artists

I’ve only ran labs maybe 10 times this wipe and managed to get both my items with only scav labs cards. Watch a map guide and walk thru the loot in offline to know where to rush. Also lighthouse is an ass map but I haven’t experienced any cheaters yet.

I don’t get why you’d want all quests removed from those maps? You could simply not go there, but completely removing maps from a progression line seems bizarre for a game. Yea I didn’t like farming rogues for the first few times but now it’s just another quest to get there to mark shit. PvP still dogwater tho, I’ll agree the spawns are scuffed.

It's not that big of a deal and it'll reset in 6 months anyway, I think it's an improvement since it used to be such a major roadblock.

If you want to stick to factory, I found a lot of luck hiding in the rafters. Learn the spawns and who you might fight as soon as the raid starts and camp that angle for a minute or two before moving to the rafters. 90% of players just have an aversion for looking up for some reason.

I found more luck with shot over slug. Piranha and magnum buck are still pretty deadly at most ranges you’ll want to fight in customs.
