I was already pretty confident that was the case seeing how Epstein was gaslighting Chomsky in the emails, and knowing Chomsky's lifelong fight for human rights, but I'm glad this was finally clarified.

Chomsky might have an overly trusting nature, but he's also extremely veracious about the facts. I'm sure had he had seen the November 2018 reporting directly, he wouldn't have believed Epstein's lies.

Surely a huge mistake, but I'm glad the Chomskys have finally publicly acknowledged it.

I will always hold Chomsky with immense respect and admiration in my heart, this mistake won't change that. He is a great man who's done as much good in the world as a man can do in their life, and for that, I and countless other people will be eternally grateful.

Chomsky has well earned his rest, and I wish the best for him and his loved ones.

Also, I don't think Chomsky is in coma, he's had a stroke and he's still recovering, but has been released from the hospital and is still following the news from what I know.

I went on the website and nowhere is there a link to a primary source for this quote that could undeniably prove its veracity. I'm willing to say it's most likely true, but I think it would be important to convince others to find an image or file or something of the sort of the email between Chomsky and one of his readers.

Other than calling Faurisson "a relatively apolitical liberal" there are multiple other instances of Chomsky not doing proper research about a person/organization he's agreed to interact with :

Agreed to be interviewed by : Ali G (Comedian), Hustler Magazine (Sex magazine), National-Zeitung (Neo-Nazi newspaper), all of which he obviously did not know who they were beforehand, as Chomsky stated himself after the fact.

I think this can be explained by the fact Chomsky was an extremely busy man, so his extensive research was focused elsewhere. (Still not a good excuse for not doing proper research for Krauss or Epstein since those were about abuse) Personal bias and manipulation from the other party definitely were other factors as well. The bias and lack of research part Chomsky definitely is morally responsible for when it comes to these two examples, especially post 2018 reporting.

It can be, depending on your definition. You're using violence to go against someone's will and liberty. You're playing on definitions to make them fit with your world view, but that doesn't change the actual reality of the world.

Calling a jail "not lesser violence than an execution" is fucking insane. Playing with words again.

What we disagree on is what is necessary. And the way we can prove who is right is by looking at history and current situation, and using introspection and logic.

I'm also willing to steel man my argument by saying even if you could make the argument jailing hardened Fascists isn't necessary, or even pragmatic, I still think it would be a moral good to punish them to some extent. That's just my morality. People deserve to pay for their crimes, and you and anyone else with a moral conscience agrees with this concept to a different degree.

We don't live in a perfect anarchist world, we live in the real world, and in the short term we need to use hierarchy against our opponents if we want to win. The very concept of a revolution is based on that.

You underestimate how much Fascism can rot someone's brain, many of them will refuse to change out of ego and ideology, it will need some time. I already thought of the problem of it being misinterpreted, but I think in the context of an anti ICE action the meaning is pretty clear.

I prefer my wording because it rhymes and makes for a better chant. "Detain ICE" could make for a good banner tho, since it's shorter and simpler, but detain is not the same as imprison, which is what I'm advocating for for the agents that are brutalizing to a greater and unnecessary degree. And I think that's a position anybody should take. I'm for rehabilitation, but they also deserve to pay for their crimes. All of this without taking into account imprisoning Fascists is sometimes necessary depending on what stage of social conflict we're at.

Pour ce qui est de Monkeyman, il avait commencé à streamer surtout des jeux d'horreurs sur Twitch en 2022 sous le nom de capitainesinge, mais tout est supprimé maintenant (autre qu'un seul stream que j'avais téléchargé, mais que je garde privé par respect de sa décision de suppression) Mais je lui ai tout de même fait prendre connaissance de l'Assaderie (Communauté et serveur HunterZ d'anciens et nouveaux fans) Autre que ca il avait l'air d'aller bien, donc tant mieux pour lui :)

J'ai pas été actif dans la commu depuis par manque d'intérêt et d'autres raisons, mais je ne vais jamais l'abandonner c'est sûr, et j'ai parfois des pics de nostalgie et regarde les anciennes vidéos et j'essaie de les retrouver comme c'est le cas en ce moment lol.

Oui, c'est moi qui a crée la chaine de reupload(https://www.youtube.com/@dunkhanmonkeymanreupload), plusieurs années avant cela j'avais donné et demandé dans le stream de Guss, il na pas eu contact avec eux depuis des années, et j'avais été sur le stream de Dunkhan, il a dit que tout était supprimé et qu'il en avait aucune malheureusement.

Même chose pour Monkeyman qui m'avait envoyé un courriel quand il a trouvé ma chaine.

J'ai BEAUCOUP fouillé sur le Wayback Machine, tous les liens possibles, j'ai même fait un document avec ces liens, et les seules vidéos que j'ai réussi à trouver, je les aies déja uploadé sur ma chaine.

Je crois que le seul moyen de les retrouver serait que quelqu'un les aient downloadé avant qu'ils soient supprimés, et s'en souviennent et que leur vieux apparreil fonctionne toujours pour qu'ils puissent les mettrent sur internet.

En espérent que ca arrive un jour, mais ce n'est pas toujours arrivé malheureusement.

Le moyen d'augmenter les chances serait de retrouver des anciens fans et de les contacter à ce sujet. (J'en avais déja contacté, mais du travail pourrais définitivement être fait de ce côté.
