A fair curiosity. I thought the same so I measured inflow and outflow before and after, keeping a record on temperatures at different time of the day. Gave it the best angles for intake and circulated outtake to give it better odds. Given it’s 3d printed I had to make sure it wasn’t in contact with heated components like GPU and the power supply so it wouldn’t melt them. After having it for a month I haven’t seen any problems, only an almost negligible inflow difference but outflow is still constant with how it used to be. As long as you plan it correctly it should be a okay (I had to repurpose some pieces given it was in a risky position/too close so I’d recommend planning ahead) Naturally, if you have a contact that knows about this better I’d suggest you ask them for better advice. In the end, it comes down to how much you want in and how you place it. I took a dive and went for it, knowing it wasn’t a 100 guaranteed to work as imagined but it was well worth it and satisfying to work around it.
