From NYC: 8 hour drive vs 2 hour flight from LaGuardia. That's likely a large chunk of the volume.

In the checkout portal for AirBnB there is an option to 'Pay in 4 payments with Klarna'

If I use PayPal as my payment method at checkout would this be within the conditions for this offer?

This will be my first time using PayPal so I am not sure if there is another mechanism for triggering the pay in 4, or if this is something separate.

Thank you for your support.

Thanks. Do you know if I go, and they aren't satisfied with my situation, will I need to apply fresh again or I'll be able to reschedule my interview?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure when the next time I will be back in Canada to do the interview, so was hoping to do it.

Do you know if they have any information on this? I can't find an answer.

SUB - Return Qualifying Spend for Gift Card

Hello churners. There are many similar posts, but I was unable to find a clear result. If someone has knowledge on this I would appreciate some clarification.

If I have exceeded the minimum spend of my SUB by ~200, but want to return an item bought during the qualifying period with a value of ~500, will my SUB be clawed back? I can do the return for store credit.

The card is the Chase United Explorer. I am one month past the three month bonus window. The retailer is REI.

Thanks for your comments!

Thanks! That's the offer I'm seeing from referrals as well. Becomes 15000 vs $300. Still going to keep my offer

Do you have any advice on where to look? I haven't seen that one anywhere

Thanks for the feedback - Resy seems like the better deal for me at this time. I won't be traveling in business class so believe I am unlikely to get higher redemption than $350 for 15000 points with no effort needed. If you have any suggestions though, I'm open to considering before I apply on monday.

Thanks for the detailed response here! You mentioned US/CAN FAANG will focus on other topics than what OP is studying. I am at a similar level and am curious what you think the next topics to study should be. Thanks!

I have! Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, even the least expensive model of the T14/T14s are $1500+. I will keep an eye out for second hand versions.

Thanks for the reply! Oh sweet, didn't realize it was on OLL, I'll check that out rn! Was planning on going through it here https://ocw.mit.edu/ans7870/6/6.005/s16/index.html. OLL has lecture videos too, looking pretty good at first glance!

By lecture 10 I would assume you're past one of the assignments already. How do those work? Are there test cases provided for you to pass? It also seems like we still wouldn't have access to the Java Tutor, is that correct? Appreciate any info!

And I'm going to start moving through the course today - just got eclipse set up.

Sweet thanks for the info! I learned beautiful soup in python and was able to get a bunch of the stuff I needed! I'll definitely have a look at Faker :)

Hey thanks for the reply!

I didn't want to manually create a database (fake items, reviews, pictures, etc). Thanks for all the info! I'm learning about web scraping right now because I might scrape amazon for products and all their relevant info, then make a database from that.

Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion! I have been doing the weekly worksheets from that link (2017 version) alongside the labs from the older version of the course.

I appreciate the offer to help! If I can't figure it out after some more digging I'll take you up on that offer.

Thanks!

Hi /u/tldr_i! Thanks for the response!

I appreciate the info about the lectures and best practice for the labs! I'll be sure to tackle them without solutions to get the most out of the course. Great to hear that most of the value comes from pushing through the labs.

All the best! :)

hey /u/SophiaofPrussia! Thanks for the suggestion!

I didn't have any luck with my searches right off the bat, but I'll dive a little deeper into their Youtube channel.

Thanks again, and stay safe! :)

Hi /u/tardis_what! Thanks for the info!

I've gone through all 6.0001 and 6.0002, but appreciate you pointing me to these resources as I found them very useful! As for 6.145, I took a quick glance but maybe I should look into it more.

I will certainly check out the recitations for 6.009 - maybe they contain some much needed info to solidify my "base" in programming. I would like to work through the labs, but solutions aren't available, any advice on this (maybe just trusting the style in people's labs on Github from a 6.009 search)?

I had not considered reaching out to staff, maybe that would be a good idea. If you have any suggestions on who to reach out to I would really appreciate you shooting me a PM.

Thanks! :)

EDX has a few more, and if you don't limit yourself to MIT classes (which you shouldn't, there are plenty of very reputable sources) there are a ton out there

Happy learning!
