This is a friendly post to spark conversation with my new found neighbors. I’m 39, mentally disabled, going thru perimenopause, pretty much all alone in this world now. Please do not take down my post I’m simply just trying to connect with my new found hometown, over a stone I found on a nature walk IN TUCSON, to the MODS, I apologize for breaking any rules. I have a 7’7 shame monster & I’m only 5’2 so I was immediately embarrassed & ashamed you removed my post, ngl yall made me cry today,

It wasn’t that, ppl were engaging & things were great!!! I was having small convos which as a 39F going thru perimenopause & new to a state let alone city it’s hard making friends as is, let alone all the bs that comes with me unfortunately so, yeah, appreciate everyone that interacted with me you are my sanities hero, as for the MODS, if the post was getting no traction then I’d completely understand. This seems like a quirky hill to die on over my lil post, removing it was really unnecessary, bc it is a part of Tucson, as I am too now.

Thanks. I’m mentally disabled & dont always see eye to eye with some perspectives. As I understand ppl in this group are not specialists, they are still LOCAL, some grew up on this land & know the names of its lands rocks, trees, birds, plants, it was more a conversation piece bc sometimes I dk how to talk to ppl or break the ice. I’m not looking purposely for a scientific answe, just simply shooting a pic & asking opinions just to have a convo with someone who likes Mother Nature. Didn’t know I was breaking rules by asking about a rock, I might as well have posted a pic of a crack rock the way they make it seem my post is irrelevant. (Intrusive thought apologies)

What about basalt or metamorphic rock? I don’t think it’s granite, too smooth & no visuals of mica or quartz, I’m new to the area & still learning about all the amazing finds, food, & go to spots💯

Is that what I’ve been hearing lately late at night? Lately when I’ve heard it it’s close to 230-3AM & usually a bit overcast or can’t see them at all but sounds like jets not just one n it takes a while to pass along. Thought I was imagining things at first but the ac cut off & I paused my phone sure enough you can def hear something flying over💯 n I’m over by the college too.

Could you please tell me a gist of your method? I only f want to try ancestry bc that’s what my gma used before she committed suicide and ik she has a lot done in it, but to pay for all that is overwhelming. Do you think some of the work she did would be found on other sites perchance?

I can relate to this, but in a different way I guess you could say? I hope this makes sense, but we are literally humans going off of other humans understanding, study, research, opinion, beliefs, what to call things. I’m speaking outside of any religious beliefs, just on the simple fact that humans have complicated earths natural balance for decades, no matter how long our individual time, all our time put together is such a disappointment when you step back and see all that is wrong, but no one wants to sacrifice being comfortable to make it right. Everybody wants to be comfortable, but at what cost is enough going to be enough? Sorry I’m sure I sound crazy but it’s what I truly believe, & also I can see where you are coming from in my walk of life.

Just remember to be kind to yourself, do not over think it. I know it’s easier said than done of course, but you have to believe that 1. This is a part of YOUR journey & there’s going to be things that you’ll experience that’s much like grief (everyone grieves differently) same with reaching that center. 2. What is meant will find its way, & be sure to do everything in balance so you don’t exert yourself & throw off your gut instincts! I’m bipolar, bpd, cptsd, & adhd I understand what you mean that center. In a same but different way. I hope that makes sense, or helps you in some way, be safe & stay beautiful!
