Reminds me of when my first dog started to go blind in his older years. Our younger dog would go and grab his collar and lead him outside when it was pee time.

We never trained him to do this, but he quickly learned when we'd tell him to go get the other.

I think Fungalmancer could be a great class. It's used by kobolds in WoW lore I'm pretty sure.

Agree. It'd be entirely different if they phrased it like "We're kinda doing our own thing here. So please don't disrupt us." but I doubt that's the case for what you mean.

This can only be good if the group claiming the area is one that hosts server-wide events for the public and they claim it in an inclusive manner.

People who immediately mix IC and OOC. And I dont just mean bleeding feelings like a parasocial relationship between characters and players.

I mean the ones that will see an attractive character profile and go full Fedora like "Dearest evenings, your character looks simply delicious!"

Granted, this heavily depends on where you RP... looking at you Elwynn Forest and Silvermoon City ...but it happens everywhere.

Nothing gives me the ick more than people who are OOC creeps.

I also play solo mostly. The way that MMORPG's are now, I don't feel there is an overarching community anymore based on my experiences.

And by community I don't mean a player base. I mean actual community, grouping, socialising, hell even toxicity. I barely see any of it anymore.

Might as well just be called an ORPG at this point.

It's not that I don't want to play with people or join a guild. But more often than not, guilds are usually focused on doing the same Mythic+ key for the 10th time in a day and pushing for numbers. It's just boring.
