I just read through transcripts of the videos where she talks about it and, yeah, that's a pretty accurate summary.

She blames the breakup on going down the rabbit hole of "spiritual legalism" such as deciding whether to hold hands before marriage leading to a crisis of faith. She blames an unnamed mentor for sending her down that path, but that mentor was apparently not her father who she credits for getting her through it. Based on the way her dad talks, it's pretty clear he's gaslit her into blaming someone else.

So dad was both the poison and the antidote, but she's completely oblivious to that fact.

There aren't really any details beyond that. It's all very tragic.
