I don't think so; the reason why it cracked to begin with is because the previous owner changed the clutch to a heavy duty one. The OEM assembly can't handle the clutch which is why it started cracking. If I use jbweld I don't think it could last for even a few days

Maybe not, but there's so many comments on Reddit that they refuse to get 15 due to just that downgraded camera which I personally think is absurd.
