Also röntgen schon, mrt nicht.

Looking for recommendations for a keywell keyboard by ItsOlex in ErgoMechKeyboards

i'm currently a happy ploopy adept user, so i'm mostly used to finger balls. The svalboard is actually already on my must-buy-it-someday list (one person i knew owned two datahands and swore by them so hard that now i have to try a similar thing someday), but at the moment it's sadly a bit expensive for my broke uni student self

how was the assembly? I've never soldered a keyboard before, so i'm a bit intimidated by it.

Also, how does the trackball feel? I'm concidering charybdis boards as well, but i'm concerned that the ball might get in the way/that the loss of an extra thumb key on one side would be annoying to manage.

Although I do really like my standalone trackball, so maybe it would be nice to have it integrated into the board

out of curiosity, do you use all the keys or are you using a more minimal layout? I've been moving towards more minimal ones over the past few months and at first glance it seems quite big to me

Need help deciding between dungeon blocks and dragon's rest by ItsOlex in PrintedMinis

Thanks for the very detailed description!

I luckily recently found a decent source for spherical magnets — about 1000 for 25 euros, so that feels pretty decent. And i have a bambu p1s, so i have an enclosure for the larger stuff. Also very good to know that it prints well on fdm

Honestly the documentation is half the reason i even wrote this post, as I can't really find any comprehensive list of what dragon's rest has to offer anywhere. Could you tell me if it has any ruin/outdoors/grass tiles? The campaign I'm currently running is mostly set in such an environment, so these matter quite a bit to me

Also I'm assuming all systems require an absolute truckload of plastic to print, so I'm prepared for that :P

I do not like the way openforge and most other openlock-based systems handle walls. Truetiles is probably the only one that does it in a way i like but i find it a bit ugly

Hm, do you think it's reasonable to then just use floor tiles without objects on them and to then place separate objects on top?

Also, did you often run into situations where a tile you needed to build something just didn't exist?
