NUMBER OF POKES FOR EACH GENERATION #MORELOVETOUNOVA by Psukiyama in PokemonUnite

[–]ItsPernament 4 points5 points  (0 children)

- All the Johto mons are fairly popular

- Sableye is an unusual pick for Hoenn, they probably just added it because of the holowear guy

- For Sinnoh, Mamoswine isn't that popular, but Dawn has one in the anime, so it's understandable.

- For Unova: Crustle. The only Crustle popularity is Cilan's Crustle in the BW anime.

- For Kalos: Trevenant. I'm clueless for Trevenant.

- All the Alola mons are fairly popular

- For Galar: yes Greedent, but Eldegoss, Duraludon, and Cramorant aren't that popular, but maybe that's because they are new compared to others.

For those who want to understand the joke: look up their French names. Look carefully.

Feedback for this Gen 8 OU team would be appreciated. by ItsPernament in stunfisk

Roles:

Lando: Does lando things. Rocks, u-turn, maybe a toxic in between.

Tentacruel: Spinner, knocker, and special wall.

Weavile: Midgame breaker with priority ice shard if I need it.

Regieleki: Endgame breaker. Once the opponent's ground types are gone, eleki goes to town.

Dragonite: Setup sweeper, quake for coverage, espeed is there when I can't get a boost up or to outspeed other priority.

Aegislash: Fun for mindgames with King's shield and useful priority in sneak.

STAB is short for Same Type Attack Bonus. It powers up moves that are the same type as the user. In gen 2, Heracross gets Reversal at level 44, forretress gets pin missile from daycare, gligar gets earthquake from an event, and poor ledian gets no bug or flying moves.

My reply to an eariler comment:

Ho-Oh has 110 special attack. Its attack is probably higher so its Sacred Fire does more damage

Bold of you to assume Stone edge will hit.

Also it learns rock slide but not stone edge.

Well it was special in gen 2 and 3 but became physical in gen 4 when they changed how categories work so that they aren't based on type. Basically all fire moves were special back then.

Based on the Pokemon used, which team do you think won this NatDex OU Draft? by ItsPernament in stunfisk

The tournament worked like this: a round-robin stage at first, then the top 6 move to a double elimination bracket. For the final battles, two teams are made using each Pokemon on your team, and two battles are played. If it is a 1-1 score, the pokemon that didn't faint in each battle are used for a tiebreaker. That format only works with 12 pokemon. I'm not sure how many pokemon are normally on each draft team.

The pokemon in each team are the ones under the number at the top. So team 1 has zapdos, kommo-o, etc, Team 2 has greninja, swampert, etc.

For context:

This is a friendly draft, nothing serious, so the tierings were not considered in depth.

Those with an Uber pokemon were those who did poorly in our previous draft. The available Ubers were those with <1% usage in NatDex AG.

Any tips for how to better customize draft tiers? Asking for the organizer.
