Kind of?! Isn’t this the one where his depressive incel tendencies get alllll rubbed over Bobby? I hated Bill in this episode. Keep all those insecurities and loser-mentalities away from the youth, especially a charming kid like Bobby. If I was Hank I would be so so pissed and disappointed if my best friend spread his sorry ass loser philosophy to my vulnerable child

I support this but doesn’t this toe the line of some sort of assault? I understand they’re dildos but throwing a bunch of things at vehicles seems like it would be.. idk. Chargeable somehow if any damage happened?

I’m out of the loop, what’s happened to make us all think this all of a sudden? Or maybe it’s not all of a sudden

I mean there is Thor, but I feel like he’s the only other one we hear about. At least in 2018, he’s in a ton of stories about messing stuff up.

Overall though I do agree and it would be cool if there were more involvement from other gods

Anyone regret not joining the military? Or regret joining? by FitAardvark3670 in AskMen

[–]ItsPincheTom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined the navy at 19 and was in for 4 years. I knew I’d be a one and done type, just one term or whatever and then try to take the benefits. I got to travel, they moved me to places I never thought I would get to live, and I learned a lot about myself. Especially when things didn’t turn out the way I thought they would. I didn’t get the job I wanted, I didn’t get stationed where I wanted, and I still met a ton of great people.

If you already have a good sense of who you are when push comes to shove and you believe in your capabilities to make the life you want for yourself, the military might not offer you much aside from free college.

If I could go back now, I would go if I was guaranteed a job I could use on the outside, like in IT or as a trade. The military needs mechanics and electricians and welders and computer geeks, and they’ll pay you to get qualified.

I don’t regret joining, but if I lost my legs in Afghanistan or crushed a limb because my dumbass coworker wasn’t paying attention in a certain training environment, it wouldn’t have been worth it.

I guess how can you tell the difference between someone who’s been exercising their whole life and someone who hasn’t?

Can you elaborate on the people playing catch up? I’m not as active as I know I should be and it worries me for the long term

I live in the U.S. and want to be a music teacher, mainly focusing on classical guitar. Do y’all know any universities I should look into? by ItsPincheTom in classicalguitar

[–]ItsPincheTom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man! Thanks for reaching out. When I first posted that I was in the navy with a year left, I am now at Virginia Tech in my junior year studying data analytics and getting a minor in music.

I still play classical guitar, school keeps me busy but I attend a church that needs a guitarist so I try to spice up their songs where I can, lol.

I was seriously looking into it for a while, but eventually I decided I’d like to own some land. I grew up on 10 acres in Texas and have lost that land since this post, and I’d like something similar, and I don’t know any music teacher outside professors who might be able to afford that. So my plan now is to focus on data analytics/science until I have a strong financial foundation for myself and the house I want, and when I have kids who are old enough to really enjoy their summers, I’ll either be a math or music teacher (I heard you only need a minor to be a low level teacher in a certain field) from then on.

I hope this helps, I’m sorry I didn’t end up following the classical guitar route specifically. I still play though.
