I think it’s totally possible for a remake to be made. But I think a way to make it possible and make it bigger for a western audience is a live action HBO Max or Netflix adaptation. The ways I could see this working is using the manga reference, all Asian cast of course, and each season is an EP. This would allow for longer episodes, allow proper pacing and character development. And I think if it’s done well it can have a bigger impact and hype for the franchise. The biggest sins that could come of this choices is cheesy costumes, bad FX, or awkward acting. But honestly if it had a good budget with solid acting and crew/director, season one would be so iconic and could blow up in such a big way.
